Jean-Jacques' Culinary Creations: A Hidden Gem for Casual Dining in Pleasantville

Hosted my friend’s bridal shower at Jean Jacques last weekend and it was magical. Donna (the Catering Director) was wonderful— her communication leading up to the event was great and her support with the set-up, execution, and clean up was so appreciated. The space was beautiful and Donna made the entire event flow smoothly. Would absolutely host another special event here because of her!

Just tried the recently added restaurant / bar side for dinner this past Saturday evening. Très magnifique!! The decor, service, and menu choices were outstanding. The prices were very reasonable. But most of all, the food was delicious. We've been going to Jean-Jacques for years, eating on the cafe side, for it's great food and desserts. The restaurant is definitely a welcome addition of top-notch service and food.

We recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter at Jean Jacques Culinary Creations, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious – beautifully prepared, flavorful, and received endless compliments from our guests. Every bite reflected the care and quality that Jean Jacques is known for - the quiche was outstanding, a must have!! The event took place in their newly renovated private space, designed with the charm of a classic French bistro. The elegant ambiance created the perfect setting for a joyful and intimate celebration. It was both stylish and warm, setting exactly the right tone for the day. A special thanks to Donna Sullivan, the Catering Director, and her incredible team. They made the entire process completely stress-free. Donna's professionalism, attention to detail, and warm approach ensured that every aspect of the event ran smoothly. Thanks to her and the staff, the shower was a huge success and a day we will always remember fondly. I highly recommend Jean Jacques Culinary Creations for any special event. Their combination of exceptional cuisine, elegant atmosphere, and outstanding service is truly unmatched.

Stopped by with my wife while passing through. It's a decent, quiet place. The croissant was fresh and buttery.The latte was well-made and smooth. Prices are as expected for the area. It did the job for a quick coffee and pastry.Would stop again if I was nearby.

This is a really cool breakfast spot in Pleasantville. The have a lot of different kind of panini sandwiches, omelettes and french toast as breakfast options. The Brioche French Toast were delicious. I believe they have a different menu from lunch onwards. Additionally they have cakes, pastries, macarons, tarts and tartelettes. The tartelettes were absolutely delicious. The standout tartelettes were the Lemon Meringue Tartelette, Tartelette au Chocolat and Key Lime Tartelette. The tartelettes are perfect desserts for the holiday season.

Went here for dinner and tried a mix of French and Italian dishes. We started with calamari, mussels, French onion soup, and a Caesar salad, and honestly everything was fantastic. The French onion soup was the standout, rich and full of flavor without being too heavy. For mains, we ordered the duck and the steak, and both were cooked perfectly. The duck was tender and flavorful, and the steak was done exactly as ordered. Service was attentive, and the overall experience felt comfortable. Definitely a place I’d recommend, especially if you’re a fan of classic French dishes done right.

We hired Jean Jacques catering for a bridal shower at our home. I worked with catering contact Donna Sullivan who was a tremendous help through every stage and was a total rockstar on site as was Jennifer who also helped on site. The food was great, crowd was happy and Donna and Jennifer were always one step ahead.

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya bruh just pulled up on JJC by the esteemed chef Mr. Vongerichten.... ???????????? ???????????????????????????? This is a haute cafe in the middle of westchester county and it hits the marks... having been to the Inn i had high expectations and was not let down. The pastries and cakes along with the coffee are the reason why I stop in here. They have such a legit selection of rizzed up sweets. The macarons are delicate like glass and melt away with such intense flavor. The cakes could be a little concentrated in tasting the unique ingredients but the lightness and balanced is just wow. I have never been disappointed by any of the mouth watering choices I have made and you will see me camped out in the bushes waiting for the place to open from time to time. Worth a visit, for sure!
